That second part is important, because La Toile specifically allows drawing a line between good and evil when Stigmata and La Toile agree on what they're fighting for. In all other instances, particularly things that allow for friendships, Stigmata is an outsider and cannot choose for Kufufu.
In a way, Stigmata cannot speak for something he isn't part of.
