roughly at chapter 100, the writing takes the deepest nosedive i have seen so far in any media.
most of the happenings make absolutely no sense whatsoever, and the constant romance baiting involving shy just goes too far.
i have no idea if the writers were switched out at this point, or if this was the plan all along, but it doesn't sit right with me whatever i do.
characters lose their personalities and just become different people overnight.
literally.

this is not a good manga and also a way terrible yuri.
average at best.

The drawing is so good, and so beautiful, the fluidity is amazing. The story is ok, some background stories are better than others, the russian hero and her mother made me cry, glasses girl that cuts herself moved me, I'm invested in knowing about Shine. When it seems they are going to fall on an obvious trope they don't, there aren't many motivational talks that magically solve a character's problem, it's a solid manga, i recommend it.

...? Why does being annoyed about a manga I somewhat like getting ruined count as miserable? Though it now looks it got fixed since the GL tag is gone, thankfully. Guess it was a fluke.
