At last, we get to the end of the story. I wish there was more to it - I mean, who wouldn't? - but I'm happy to see them all pursue their dreams as we say goodbye to them. Wherever life takes him, Hachiken will be alright.
That last story from Sakuragi sensei wraps up the whole journey neatly. I loved the visuals as he told the class about the many adventures Hachiken got into during his highschool years. And most importantly, just how many lives he changed for the better because of them. He really had an impact on nearly everyone he came across while in Yezo, and not just the students. It was gratifying to see the headmaster walking the dog. He really made his mark in that school.
