It's sad that sooner or later they are going to face huge conflict because of their relationship... But I hope they get over it somehow, even if they have to keep hiding it in the end. Also, this must be something really hard to accept as a parent, and I don't mean accepting their relationship, but something like "why did this had to happen?"... Must be hard. Or not really, even same sex marriage does not seem so impossible anymore, then I guess this "emancipation" is gonna reach others areas in the end, such as siblings marriage, if this is for better or worse, I do not know.

Incest marriage was really really common back then, even the cousin "incest" marriage just becomes uncommon lately. So I don't think it's a legalisation, but more like a re-legalisation if it happens in the future.
