I mean she was just covering up her expression but the dad didn't seem to be worried so i imagine it's not something that'd be concerning, but i guess some things would be muscle memory (tho after her father left she probably didn't need to cover her expressions)

I've been thinking this for a while.

Even if they find out that this "new" Jelly is just her corpse possessed by a slime, I don't think there'll be much of a fuss. Most would likely agree that this Jelly is better than the old Jelly. I imagine the only person who'd probably be negatively affected would be her father, but that's about it. Maybe he'll come to terms with it too.
