Nah, they get stuff like poison immunity, super strength, etc. They're still slimes inside, and can release slime minions and such. Since the body is still considered alive and everything, surely could get pregnant, but whether they'd accidently send slime into it making it some percentage of non-human would be the bigger question.

Jokes aside I do feel like Lumir is still tied to the goddess, but she speaks with way too much experience to not 'also' be a slime. Wonder how this all maps out.

What if the Goddess is actually the Goddess of slimes, and all previous Saints that heard the voice of the Goddess were actually slimes possessing bodies?

I think that'd be a little...on those nose? Because other than a 'separate' goddess versus the main one humans believe in, I'd think there'd be something like "Don't kill slimes more than necessary" or so lol. But i wouldn't mind spinoffs or one shots set in this same universe where other slimes living diff types of lives lol, if only some 'saint' to the slimes because they go to a nearby village and come back once a month to give her slime tribe like a handful of snacks lol

Yeah but other than instinct of “yummy food in front of me now” maybe some would play the long game of “possess a Human and learn to cook more meals/gather coins to spend at restaurants”

Dunno if Lumirs original body was also a merchant/have connections but what they’re doing know is a pretty good job money wise if not exchanging goods lol
