She was planning to, however she died before she got the chance. Thank goodness, things would've been even more difficult for our Slime Princess if she had something like torturing/killing a fellow Saint to also iron out.

She didn't do it, she only dreamed about doing it. (No way would she let the actual act slide)

It'd be interesting if the past sins Leon wants to atone for involve killing monsters indiscriminately, before he realized that not all monsters are evil. Some are just wild animals doing what they need to do to survive. Some can be tamed to do the bidding of humans, which can be good or bad depending on that particular human's intentions. And some monsters, despite their inhuman appearance, have human-level intelligence and are likewise capable of choosing to be good or evil. Perhaps Leon had an encounter with an intelligent monster (maybe that dragon he's famous for fighting, maybe the slime chief he nearly killed) which made him realize that exterminating innocent monsters effectively made him a mass-murderer. That would make a nice dramatic reveal if Leon ever finds out Jelly is a slime impersonating a human, but instead of becoming hostile, he's overcome with remorse and confesses his past and begs Jelly for forgiveness.

Spoiler because if it turns out to be true.... my hope they will join and make slime babies together gets closer to reality...
and if that wasn't clear... I think a heroic slime tried to kill this dude and ended up taking over like she did after his success at suffocation, but he woke up in the church's camp and had to hide. So basically a slime knight is protecting a slime saint.

No, it's him that sat her on it in the last chapter when she got faint from all the blood, because she told him earlier "If I look tired, sit me down".

What if she was so crazy and evil because the goddess actually told her to do so? And then later she would willfully die so the slime took her place?

Just because the goddess is supposedly good it doesn’t mean she won't do messed stuff for her long term plans
