@Akabane The fact that he doesn't is one of the pillars that makes this manga interesting. If he just walked around using his insta death power freely this would just be super-generic-op-isekai #6346. The fact that he uses his power in self defense creates an interesting dynamic where other characters are essentially unknowingly hurling themselves to their death. Its always their own fault, and they never get a second chance.

@Mapax The guy is dead, on the last few panels you can see that the MC sensed killing intent of the dude and killed him instantly. That's why the dude was sitting slouched on the last panel and as to why the MC said "Liar".
