@bvdaf That was last chapter. The ant has a sort of extendable tongue or something that has the poison. Jin-Woo's self-heal ability counteracted it.

@Elki OPM is a satirical comedy about the absurdities of OP characters, Solo Leveling is a shounen about a man who grinds endlessly; both are doing their parts very well. You're comparing apples with oranges.

There's a rising chance of failure depending the level of the corpse, so the safest bet is trying to necro a lower level corpse first
IMW, but the rules was explained on the early chapters when he got the 'Shadow Soldier' skill

MC's Potion only works to heal minor injury, if the health is too low it was beyond the potion's ability. And nope, this isn't the climax of the story. Minor spoiler, in fact it was just a preperation to the bleak futute...And another minor spoiler, he may be in danger from time to time but, it's not surviving but protecting others is the goal.

@Izurak Because she is in critical condition (usually you will have 10%-25% HP left in your character) and potion wont recover her health due the restriction of system that any player who had breach the minimum HP limit will be apllied "injury" (not bleeding) and to recover it you need healing skills like Critical Heal (apllied when you are in critical condition).

If the potion can cure everything, he wont need drag others to his burden (in this case, he will beat the boss while protecting them due others had exhausted status) which is a HUGE DISADVANTAGE for him.

BTW, this is not a SPOILER since I am Ex MMORPG player (RO and Seal Online) which played about 10 years and retired due insufficient time for keep playing them.

There are some RPG games applied this system to increase the difficulty of game and making players will play smart or careful since unhealable status is the worst nightmare for all players especially against BOSS.

The potions he has only works if they aren't below a certain point. So for example, if her HP drops below 10% they don't work.

@Kcjpunk Its basically true. The only real reason the ant arc was interesting was because of the way it was written and
Beru
but this has changed the pacing and presentation a lot. Same events are happening but not from the same perspective. Makes the arc lose a lot of tension.
There is a warning from the healer summon, Berus summon, and a tease for the final arc and then this arc is done. Probably like 2-3 more chapters max

There is a long down time after this and made lots of readers lose interest in the series. Its basically him doing chores and spending way to much time establishing the guild he doesn't care about. [Also the poorly written romance plot happens in the down time] The final arc is alright but has pretty poor pacing but I think it will look cool with this art and format. The story is just kind of meh and doesn't really have a good climax like this arc. It might be fine though with the different presentation like I said just dont expect anything amazing. The ending is scuffed but I would say fairly satisfying for how slow the story gets.

Nowhere, but I personally don't mind it. Since the early chapters, this has been a power fantasy. But unlike the bad ones, this one knows how to do the genre right: be cool, be smart, don't be pretentious, and most important of all: don't act like you are not power fantasy. I read different story for very different reason, and I know why I read this one: because I love seeing the MC be absolute badass. I love me stories with underdogs and stories where protagonists have to struggle, but Solo Leveling ain't that and I sure don't want it to be.

OPM itself may have an OP character as well, but it's a different type of the story: it is not centered only on Saitama, it is a parody, and it is an exploration of a world where Superheroes exist. Solo Leveling has neither of these, or cares to have them, so comparing them is like comparing apples and carrots.

@Kaptainko You have a point. I don't remember ir arise had cooldown (I think not for different targets), but I would first try the ant nevertheless, and then if not revive the healer. "Reviving" a human is quite the big deal in my opinion. At least he had the common sense not to broadcast it.

Thanks for the chapter.
I was wondering if he could have just summoned the ant in front of everyone instead of going to the gray zone of morality since the ant got their power anyways.
I don't really mind the tank being bind since I hate him HAHAHAHAHA
