In novel, the reason why he couldn't arise the healer was because of his own thoughts. Reminding himself that even if he has a profound dislike to revive such a good person, he has to do it to save a life, he crush his mental block.

@Lunatiarrah
The ant is too powerful, he isn't sure to be able to raise it, even in 3 tries.
The healer was the best and most promising option for him.

@DANDAN_THE_DANDAN "OPM is a satirical comedy about the absurdities of OP characters" Exactly, because stories about OP characters are absurd. OPM knows being the strongest is boring, especially if you got there without effort, this manwha thinks it's super cool (and has the balls to make a reference to OPM, which contradicts everything this manwha has to say, pretty funny). Power fantasies are inherently boring.

Thanks for the translation! I've devoured the chapter, I didn't expect the healer summoning, I thought MC would have used the miracolous elixir he gave to his mommy... This can be a burden and a big gap between him and other hunters.

I think he preferred the healer because he is a stronger healing talent than the ant. The ant is a "Jack of all trades" so that's why his abilities are good, but not on par with a specialist like Byeung'gu when it comes to healing.

@Frangar the Elixir is a one time consumable and he has to get a few more mats to craft it once again. Iirc he need 1 more instance of Water of Life.

The author has made the same mistake One Punch Man has made: Making the MC so overwhelmingly strong that the only option is to remove them from their own story.

One Punch Man was a good gimmick, but it became clear quickly that Saitama had to be pushed aside in order to keep the story tense. Similarly, JinWoo has to "decide" to stay out of the fights (until the climax) in order to make the story interesting. He's basically an untouchable god at this point, popping in to solve problems when things have become sufficiently hopeless.

In other words, this shit is getting boring because the author made the mistake of making the MC too strong. Just like One Punch Man.

@youiri65, when MC created the elixir, there was 6 of them. Maybe it heals illnesses, but not serious wounds. It's the only reason I can think of.

@kaminomikan He indeed done that, but the guy was an asshole who left him and the other weaker guys to die, at least now that useless fucker is being useful as a shadow.

This other guy (the healer) is another story, and the only fast solution, as explained, was this one, to summon the healer's shadow to save the girl who is almost dead.

I would do as him, think if it's really alright do that to someone who never done anything wrong, at least to me or my/his companions.

No to count that the healer best friend is there watching it all, and in the future, they may have to team up, what would you think of seeing your friend in that state, or what was left of him for that matter.
