It's hilarious coming in here to read the comments because people salty that their gamer girl waifuing isn't happening because the male protag's a habitual cross-dresser. This is almost as good as gravy.

@Eksentrysyti @zeluqa @NinjaGoemon The problem is this didn't start out as a crossdressing series. It turned into one. That means you are going to have a lot of people that came here for Tsun gamergirl x MC hijinks and not MC crossdressing nearly every chapter. The people that got invested in the story that is now, apparently, about a crossdressing MC, when it wasn't at first are going to be a little disappointed when they come back each chapter hoping the crossdressing is over but it isn't.

Think of it this way. Some of the readers thought they were getting one thing but were being led on by a deception. Now that the trap has sprung they are understandably upset and a little angry. Some people like getting trap'd and that is fine, some don't and that is fine too.

@futbuk I hardly consider that a problem, but a good thing; there are a lot of things that for some reason series only dare do if it be the entire identity of the series, and that annoys me.

Like Queen's Artist being criticized for "becoming a 'yuri' series" half way through, apparently one can only have romantic development between two characters of the same sex — but not of the opposite sex — if the series be introduced from the start as revolving around that.

There was an interesting conviction posted on Youtube that all characters should be bisexual for this reason; the problem with this idea that these things like "cross-dressing" and "same-sex romantic tension" can only be included, should they be identity of the series from the start, is that it severely limits the dramatic possibilities, it makes it impossible for something like cross-dressing to be developed later, it has to be introduced in the very first chapter, and that's just annoying.

Similarly, it seems that a character can only be "a trap" if that be the entire identity of the character, with very little else to the character. I applaud Attack on Titan for having a trap main character, who started not out as such, but just became one later, and it's also certainly not the character's entire identity.

@trapsarebetter And you are allowed to think it is a good thing, no one is stopping you. I am just trying to explain to the people getting smug in the comments about people not liking what they like why they might be upset that crossdressing is suddenly a main plotpoint. If authors weren't allowed to insert their own fetishes, Akihito Tsukushi would be out of work and Nanashi never would have found his cashcow.

Take Usagi Drop for instance. I loved the ending and loved how it made people rage. But I still understood why they raged and don't blame them for it. I just called out the hyperbolic types that acted like it was something perversely evil.

That said, I really hope you aren't one of those Bashir x Garek shippers but based on your comments so far you probably are. That is not allowed and Dukat did nothing wrong.

What does the text behind her say?

@futbuk
>Doesn't like cross dressing bc it's a "fetish"

I have no idea why people are so salty. This his great fun. If you don't like it, stop reading, easy as that.

I came into this expecting one of those twitter one-page chapter series, which are often fun. Instead, I got "I ended up cross-dressing for my awkward gamer friend."

That having been said, I actually caren't much about this ship or any romance in Star Trek — all romance therein always felt weird. This would probably be one of the better though, but I felt Julian–Ezri worked better.

Garak is just an awesome character in his own right: "The truth is usually just an excuse for a lack of imagination.".

If we state that the self identifies and is perceived outside by the outside as female, then a cross dressing man in a relationship with a woman is simply yuri, which is the highest tier of cartoon romance. If the self maintains their identity, then it is a heterosexual relationship. If the inverse of case A occurs, such as the situation with reverse traps, that is also another example of high tier romance.
In layman terms, a trap on female situation is either yuri or heterosexual. Either circumstance is desirable.
The plebian is focused on traditional. He will forever be confined in his miniscule environment and never have desire. The patrician seeks to explore the infinite cosmos of Chinese Cartoons. Rather than fear the unknown, he seeks it. He becomes a bodhisattva and teaches others the wonders of gender bender, tomboy, and reverse trap.

@trapsarebetter I remember seeing people mad about that series too, but it mostly seemed to be because of the other part of things there than the yuri specifically. The complaints I remember seeing were basically that the series was like some weird form of NTR, y'know? Japan's romcoms are super formulaic, if you subvert expectations as much as that series did after the way the first half goes, it's not weird that people are bothered by it. I mean hell, that didn't even subvert expectations so much as build them up on purpose just to ignore them.

@Glomor

The "cuckoldry" was just that; it was "cuckoldry" for little more reason than that it wasn't a male and a female character but two female characters that got together at the end.

The story hard romantic tension between many different characters: Nagase–Huzimaki, Yukimori–Miyazima, Nagase–Yukimori. The "cuckoldry" was simply that the Nagase–Yukimori pairing was the one that won at the end, which was also the one that was the most serious and most developed, but it was also the only one that was not male–female..

It was a "subversion of expectation" because of that and only that, so I criticize that expectation, because that expectation is a severe limitation in writing; it exists outside of Japan too where a lot of audience members feel that one can only have same-sex romance developing if that be the entire setup of the story but not later on, but with opposite-sex romance that is not a problem. I've seen some homosexual persons even say that they feel it's improper to later reveal that a character is homosexual; it must be revealed at the start; that implies the same thing: one can only have same-sex romance if that be the initial setup.

This asymmetry annoys me and honoring this expectation creates an undue limitation on writers.

Can I say that that guy is smooth? He knew he was meeting 2 girls on Valentine's day and dressed as a girl. Course that meant he had to play it off by both dressing as a girl but also following social customs of women on Valentine's day

Guy's pretty good, and pretty good at staying calm.
