honestly, the crossdressing (and i'm definitely not anti-) is the most boring part for me most of the time because he constantly comments that he does not want to do it, but does it for her sake. i think the dad beating his ass thing is just secondary at this point. he just goes with the flow. and that aspect i'm ok with but if she knows he doesn't really enjoy it that much it would be nice if she didn't always force him to do it basically.
that all said, he could try harder to stop if he actually gave a shit.
