I always find it interesting trying to figure out what was in the original script after seeing two different takes on translation. Like on page 2 one mentions traps and the other says monsters.

This one does do a better job I think conveying the mom's habit of treating everyone as babies.

Is the baby transformation metaphorical or not? I was under the impression that the elf had truly turned him into a baby last time.

usually people wait 3 months before taking over a series, dont they?
That's just a community guideline, not a hardcore rule.
If you believe that the translation quality or accuracy of the current group/person working on it is bad.
Then it's not wrong to take over and work on it, if you can.

yes, it's all metaphorical.

On the previous time when Demonio went all pampered baby, Sharon who was watching was seeing a full grown man doing all that.
Same here.

Your comment got me curious, so I checked the raws. As I suspected, this group is making up lines.

ごめん森の中に罠が多くて

ごめん — “Sorry” (casual apology).

森の中に — “in the forest.”
  • 森 (もり) = forest
  • の = possessive/connector (“of” or “in”)
  • 中 (なか) = inside, within

Together: 森の中 = “inside the forest”

に = location particle meaning “in” or “at.”

罠が多くて — “there are many traps” (with a connective nuance).
  • 罠 (わな) = trap
  • が = subject marker (“there are…”)
  • 多くて = te-form of 多い (おおい), meaning “many” or “a lot.”
  • The て (te-form) connects it to another phrase, often implying “and…” or giving a reason.

おっぱい吸いながらねむねむしまちょう~
  • おっぱい — breasts / boobs
  • 吸いながら — “while sucking” (吸う = to suck + ながら = while doing)
  • ねむねむ — baby-talk for “sleepy” (from 眠い)
  • しまちょう~ — baby-talk version of しましょう, meaning “let’s do (it).”

In the first image it says “traps” and not “monsters,” and in the second image it says “boobs” and not “mama’s milk.”
