curious what happens in chapter 100. maybe a confession after all? some female authors do tend to show couples after getting together. this chapter gives me hope with her lovestruck blushing and the fact that a photoshoot can easily be wrapped up in 3 chapters.

Remember, this arc has a monthly release schedule, longer chapters, which means it could go either way as far as "wrapping it up" goes. But I think it's going to be significant.

Was it worth to wait all of that time for this reveal? No. Is it the best cosplay yet? Definitely not. Do I feel any hype for this cosplay? Not at this point. Is this arc heading towards the end? Of course not. Do we end up this chapter with big cliffhanger? YEP.

Is it only me or this manga has changed into "milk it 'till it's dry" kinda thingy? Because it really feels like it. All of that stagnation, all of that build up, all of that wait, changing schedule to 1 chap per month because of "additional work needed for this arc"... All of this for that (and I would like to point this is only my opinion) weak ass reveal of weak ass cosplay in a weak ass fasion? Like, c'mon, at least make the cosplay page color to emphasize how big it is in term of the whole arc. And here we got Marin in a puff coat in a color That was anti-climatic A.F.

Idk man, the reveal is weak for how much and how long it has been hyped up for, even in this chapter. Like the earlier cosplays were way better in term of the reveal

No, the first 40 chapters were full of spicy ecchi moments. Remember when she sat on top of him? Remember the slipups? Remember all the accidental lucky pervert moments? Remember when the two of them actually interacted and had romantic and sexual tension?

Because I do. Now we get four months dedicated to a piece of black cloth and I’m supposed to be like “oh boy I sure love all this talk about black fabric and how smooth it is, I sure don’t miss Marin sitting on top of him while blushing at all”

Honestly, everything in this chapter was hype except the full costume.

Gonna guess a lot of this impact is supposed to be how the different blacks and whites contrast or meld into each other which... doesn't really work in a black-and-white image where there's no material tones to work with.

If the author had just used a bit of the artistic license they use on comic Haniel or Gojou on page 22 to amp up that last panel it'd have hit better.

This wasn't a reveal of Haniel. This was a reveal of Gojou.

Honestly, I've been enjoying this storyline a lot, not least because we're getting something that's been building up since the Liz-kyun cosplay: this isn't Gojou assisting with Marin's hobby anymore. It's just as much, or even more, his hobby now.

And compare Gojou's insistence that Marin can do what he desires from her expressions with her declaration to Grandpa at Christmas. They've very much become each others' biggest fans, and they trust each other completely. That's not "no progress".

You're kind of right about most of your points but at the same time we had some progression here in that Gojou made the request this time, for the first time too. This arc is more about him, his ambitions and showing that their relationship goes both ways.
