...wat?
Blud made drinking Monster seem so egdy.
this. like wth? Drinking nostalgic "my first cosplay's product-placement" to an unhealthy degree, because he can't figure to ask ppl around him what a specific fabric is called?

I don't think it's losing focus, quite the contrary. There's a huge focus on Gojou's development, and it's definitely leading to a point where Gojou will eventually think himself worthy of Marin. His perceived-worthiness definitely increased since chapter 1, but there's still a huge step to be taken there and this arc is, in my personal view, probably the best way to increase his self-confidence (it'll top the School Festival arc I think). Let's be patient, let Fukuda-san cook, she's definitely going to offer us a beautiful moment soon. :)
Last time we let her cook, she came up with the akira plot twist. I wouldn't let her cook again...

I don't see how contemplating about how to make a cosplay will increase his view regarding if he is worthy of Marin or not. He didn't even show any romantical feeling towards her up until now. Being embarrassed of how attractive she is isn't the same as showing romantical feeling. In these last chapters the author also focused on side characters that added absolutely nothing to the story.

Yeah, it's getting way too focused on the minutia of the hobby at the expense of the human drama of the story (Gojo and Marin's relationship). Marin is what drew most people in, and she's been diluted with an influx of mostly uninteresting characters, uninteresting intercharacter drama (omg Akira hates me jk she actually loves me), and chapter after chapter of tedious, long winded exposition of the hobby.

Thank you for the translation!

But is it me or does Marin feel like a side character now, there’s no cutesy moments between her and gojou anymore too :( I hope this series doesn’t fizzle out

The guy chugging the energy drink like his life depends on it. He really put his all for this cosplay and he's didn't even think to cut corner.

The pacing of this manga has fallen off a cliff. I am here by bored of the cosplay. If I come back and Marin hasn't confessed I'm going to have a conniption fit.
