I thought I was the only one, but I agree 100%. These "serious" Frieren arcs are below average shounen stuff. It's such a huge disconnect from the other chapters too.

Not kinda game breaking for me but the Author seem better on SoL, world building character and little fight. Not whole shounen stuff.

can the 12 people who don't enjoy the manga anymore go away and not doom posting here for people who ACTUALLY love the manga?? you guys are really ruining the vibe. go and vent in /a/4chan.

anywayssssss. personally I'm looking forward for these things:
1. Saint of the End's Curse. This has been foreshadowed for long, and it should be almost time for it to happen. I wonder what kind of curse it is.
2. Rivale vs Stark. Will definitely happen. Rivale was the one who destroyed Stark's village and he acknowledged Eisen's strength. He will definitely be interested in fighting against Eisen's disciple.
3. Empire's Founding Day or Serie's Assasination Day. Will the assassination plan actually be executed or will the shadow warriors die before it? I think it will happen because as this chapter mentions, the "big brother" of the shadow warriors wasn't present, and the Governor (the one with eyepatch) probably won't clash with Frieren's party until the day of the assasination.
4. Phrase's appearance. She has been hyped up by Macht & Gluck. Can't wait until Frieren's party clashes with her (this will most likely involve Ubel & Land).
5. Sein's reappearance and regroup with Frieren's party. He should have reunited with Gorilla and now is adventuring with Gorilla. (This is a positive outlook that Gorilla is actually alive).
6. Stark's strength as a warrior is fully displayed and proves that he's not inferior even when fighting against mages. Frieren has said that a warrior is superior to mages in close combat. And they have been mentioning a dwarf's constitution again.
7. Ubel and Land regrouping with Frieren's party. I really want to see them interacting with Stark.
8. KRAFT. He needs to make a reappearance again. He was hinted to be a forgotten Hero from the olden days, along with the one that looks similar to Sein. And there was a theory that the Hero Sword is actually for him, that's why it didn't respond to Himmel. I bet he will be important when the Saint of the End's Curse starts.
9. Reaching Aureole!!! Frieren needs to meet Himmel and says I love you and even if it's doomed, at least she should be able to get her feeling across (even if Himmel already knew since long ago). When I expand the plot points like this, it seems we still have long ways to go until Aureole. At least 150 chapters more.
