Reminds me of that manga where the hero party got cursed to have certain traits reversed. The hero became a flagrant homosexual, the monk got de-aged into a shota, the mage got gender bent and the priestess got turned into a super-negative yandere of darkness.

I like how the author decide to draw this time travel to let see some adventure with the old crew while in the anime there is Frieren with the new squad.

Ok, so, this arc has done two thing. One, I've become way more emotionally invested in Frieren as a character and its world. And two, it's revealed what I would consider a massive flaw in this story. That is, this original hero party is just way more interesting than Fern and Stark. They work much better as a group and the story is instantly more immersive with them. The draw of this manga for me was to see Frieren doing a journey of self discovery, learning and importantly, reflecting on her past, but that has in some ways fallen by the wayside for her new adventure with Fern and Stark, and that is sadly just less interesting than what we see here.

After quick 10s googling I can't seem to readily find raws for 116, so I'm assuming it's just not releasing as often as it used to. Although, even before the hiatus, it increasingly skipped more and more of the weekly release schedule to release the following week.
