I'm kinda scratching my head over how highly rated this is. It isn't bad, but... I'm finding this to be a bit bland and lifeless, which isn't helped by the stiff art. Maybe I'm spoiled by Dungeon Meshi. I think I'll drop it for now.

Remind me a lof from https://mangadex.org/title/17782/somali-to-mori-no-kami-sama . It has a calm journey but meaningful. Since the chapters were deleted you could find it in comment section where you can read

Man I loved reading this.

Reminded me of Mushishi, kino's journey and somali to mori as the person below mentioned it.

I'd love to read more stories like this, times like this I really miss the recommendation tab old batoto had.

I see some people that dont like this. I think to really enjoy this you need to have a sense of mortality. In other words, I feel this may not appeal to teens.

As an aside, I want to be an ageless emotionless loli elf, too.

I definitely see why this is the top rated manga.
A solid 10 for sure.

I'm a teen and death freaks me out, that's why I don't like it.
I'm not leaving any rating though.

A very wistful and heavy series. Fairly rare for a manga to treat the theme of death in this manner.
