Spoiler Tag Issue

when i tried to report it again, i got this warning, says that my report is pending

seriously, what the staff even doing then?
before i write this i check their account, most of them are online, from a minute ago - an hour ago...
but they did nothing to my report? its been 3 days since i reported it!
whats the point implement the report feature then?
and why they made this rules then?

should i contact them via discord? if yes, then whats the point of mangadex forum then?

anyway, if within 2 days they keep ignore my report, i'll consider to remove the entry chapter...
(poor soul to 324 follower of the manga)

It seems like the spoiler tag function is not working for you. That user is using the Spoiler tag correctly as in
those spoilers are only supposed to show up if you click the Big rectangular Spoiler button. From the pictures I see, the spoiler tags are not hiding them like they're supposed to on your computer or machine for some reason.


Does the text below immediately show up here (which is not supposed to happen)? Or does the Spoiler tag button and functions work properly? You can try it yourself, the Spoiler tag function is the Fourth button from the right.

I am a spoilers, the spoiler has died, chapter 999999 has Satan. Kill it with fire. BTW, Im a let you finish but this is basically all hidden if the Spoiler tag is working properly. If it's not for you, you should immediately see this text like in your pictures.

Of course spoilers must be posted in spoiler tags, and from the second pic, I can see that he clearly intentionally clicked the spoiler tag to show the contents. What he meant is that even with the spoiler tags, spoilers shouldn't be allowed in the manga comment thread. They instead should only be posted in individual chapters thread, or somewhere else. If this isn't wrong, and the mods allow it, then the rule and that warning should be clarified more clearly.

Edit: to OP, I once reported a comment that violated the rule, and it took days to get that comment to be moderated. You had a message saying that the report was still in pending, which possibly means there're a lot of reports waiting in lines that your report has not been touched yet.

Yeah the guy posting spoiler is wrong, but why are you getting so worked up over this minor thing? Staff probably has a lot of reports to go through, and other more stuff that need more attention than some guy posting spoiler with the spoiler tag in the wrong place. Talk to staff if you are really bothered by this, creating a thread just for you to vent your frustration is useless.

Can you show me where does it say not to post spoilers in the series main thread?
Because rule 5.2.2 states Do not post spoilers outside of designated forums but it does not designate which forums are designated as spoiler free, so please enlighten me because what you're saying must be coming from somewhere.

Edit: Also what about reviews? Don't they belong on the series main thread? Won't that be considered as a spoiler too?

@zeroxjac It's allowed, I think the warning is mostly just reminder to people so they just don't get too carried away with giving spoilers, as others such as OP here might not be too fond of that (spoilers function used or not).
I mean, the comments on those series is supposed to be more or less about discussion no?
So I believe sometimes, spoiler is just unavoidable because the need to point off stuff in a discussion.

@sterven there is a notice right below the comment thread button that literally says it, very hard to miss, and i dont know if you are joking but obviously reviews and spoilers are not the same so as long you dont give too many details it should be okay.

Edit: Then again it does say "please" so it's asking not telling. They should make an amendment in the rules for this.

Because it is somewhat fine, since they use the word "Please do not" not just "Do not".

@ABCsOfLife being polite is not a pass to break the rules, as i am not part of the mod team i dont know the criteria to moderate comments i just know the rules they put in place not how they implement them, they said spoilers in individual chapters=ok, spoilers in main chapter thread=no, so some people are breaking the rules now is the responsibility of the mods to enforce the rules or ignore it, OP is right about them breaking the rules but is blowing it out of proportion.

@zeroxjac It is fine dude, now that I read the rule, rule 5.4.4 basically stated it allowed spoiler.. of course as long as you use the tag.

@zeroxjac Isn't that mean like do not put spoilers for let's say.. 5Toubun no Hanayome on another forum such as Solo Leveling comments forum perhaps. Solo Leveling here is outside the designated forums.. while if you discuss 5toubun no Hanayome spoilers on 5toubun no Hanayome forums (be it individual chapter or not) it is fine.

Why do people even post entire story-line as spoiler? Just mentioning if the end (of series) is good or not or a small hint where the series is headed is spoiler enough. It's stupid to write a big ass description of it.
