Komachi bringing ancient wisdom to bring this two together. She is the MVP for sure.
Since her introduction, Komachi has been very plot relevant to the manga. There will be more instances of this.
Thank you as always for the scanlation CrysTL

Would've loved the author making the puzzle with only nine differences to truly immerse the readers into the story's world

I love japanese food but I would never ever ever ever let them cook traditional italian cuisine.
What they do is blasphemous. Though I am sure they feel the same way when looking at "japanese" cuisine in europe.

The ribbon gradient is the most evil spot the difference I think ever run into. Even being told it’s a difference, I’m still can’t see it.

yeah, it's really hard to see the difference.
but if you zoom in really close, you can see the screentone pattern on the bottom panel.

This is a pretty broad brush. And I only say this because when I was in Hiroshima, I went to an Italian place that was absolutely delicious, one of the best meals I had in Japan. I can't remember what it was called; only that it wasn't too far off of Hondoori (I think probably to the west because I think we came from the peace memorial), on the ground floor, and that the kitchen was on the left when you enter the building (I remember us thanking them for the meal as we left).

I couldn't find anything that looked quite right after scouring Google maps for a while, so maybe it closed down after Covid? But if it was still around, and I could remember its name/address, I would totally recommend it to anyone visiting Hiroshima.

I was trying (and failing) to be humorous, but I appreaciate the effort of trying to recommend actual restaurants. Seems only appropriate given this manga is all about eating out.

Haha, no, no worries. I have an ex who is Chinese and used to talk about a dish (what was it? I think it was Kung Pao chicken with strawberries?) like it was a war crime, so I totally get it. I just felt compelled to reply specifically because it was about Japanese-Italian cuisine, and I remember that specific meal so fondly.
