FYI the official raws on kuragebunch are paywalled for roughly a month. Right now there are two chapters out in JP that are still paywalled; it appears that groups in other languages are paying for it but I'm waiting for them to become free.

As for the pronouns, Japanese is a language where pronouns are very easily dropped, and many of those pronouns even when present are gender-neutral. Since the gender of the person being talked about was not conveyed in their conversation and the identity of the person being talked about (Haru and Sun) is not known to the other party in the conversation (Sun doesn't know his teacher is talking about Haru, the boss lady doesn't know Keitarou is talking about Sun), using gendered pronouns would be incorrect and one must compromise with the use of the singular they.
This lack of need to specify the subject is commonly used for gender confusion tropes (as seen in Chapter 1 of this manga for example) and causes English translators much pain.
