They killed the girls because female humans are useless to them. "Useless." That's why the Super Ball Girls are so dangerous. In the private pool when they were accessing themselves and human society, they quickly branded women as useless to their survival and men only fit to serve as breeding stock.

And it's all very darwinian, since their species is designed to be as attractive as possible to human males so that they can reproduce easier, it makes sense the female humans are evolutionary rivals that they're pushed to supplant. Especially since aside their weakness to chocolate, their species is similar and superior to us in every aspect. Stronger, smarter, faster, and near indestructible.

It also creates an irreconcilable conflict since without this murderous impulse over half of our species, threatening at term our entire existence, there wouldn't be much conflict once the SB girls could be convinced to stop murdering their mates. No need, most dudes would be down to kiss randos.

_

Anyway the gov guy is interesting, but frankly, the plot went so fast the MC didn't have much time to really make the choice to not take advantage of his harem, humanity be damned. He's just broke lmao. He quickly saw that one kiss= three more mouths to feed so it's a really bad trade, especially when they were already at full capacity.

I'm still curious to know if something particular would happen in case of intercourse, which is the elephant in the room not yet addressed.

A lot of the MC's personality you can get a feel for just from rereading the first chapter. He starts off as your pretty bland basic male protagonist that any average reader could probably relate to. He was passive, didn't do well in life with anything he tried at, and his current job was a result of not being able to get any of his dream jobs.

After the girls showed up, he was still pretty passive about them, but after he saw 1 of them start disintegrating when eating chocolate and then regenerate, he got scared and ran away for fear that he might die. Then he showed initiative by walking back in and deciding to look after the girls despite his fear of them, showing that maybe he's not all that passive anymore.

He then decides to change his outlook on life and try his best for them specifically since everything else he tried to do never worked out. From there it's a few chapters of him teaching them stuff while learning about them as well.

This leads to the ball girls going out on their own and unintentionally killing/harming more people while also making those "evil" ball girls. Then we get the showdown between out main characters and those evil ones, leading us to where we are now.

Other than not being afraid to kill the more evil ball girls, nothing has really changed about his personality since his initial revelation. He cares for the main girls and wants to do his best specifically for them.
personallyy thankin ya for diz, WE need it!

So why does this shady organization go through all this effort, and waste all this time on MC and the girls when they could just load up on chocolate and hunt the bad girls themselves?

While they’re wasting time torturing the only ones who won’t hurt them, the others are out multiplying and growing stronger.

I guess the cacao crisis reached the manga world... it should be easy to make chocolate bullets... MC did it with water guns yet the government can't figure shit out, which is classic, no matter the universe. Well there's also plot armor so... let's see where it goes.

Basically the the MC should have kissed Cherry instead of choosing neither option.

Again, why murder them just to steal their clothes? And how are those not drenched in blood after that??
This is getting boring, the art is still great but everyone is either stupid evil alignment or just plain stupid
You've got a point there.

Wtf those outfits? The looks like the bondage rope things
That's the point, I think. There's tons of kinky stuff in the manga, it's just some of it is too obscure to recognize.

For example, the ridiculous scene where the girls got gunned for no reason was to cater to some torture fetish.

At this point I think it's clear that the point of the manga is to have hot girls doing hardcore stuff, and I mean hardcore in a broad sense. Too much thinking and it'll be ruined.

The threat level has evolved. At first they only targeted men for kissing, now they're specifically killing women to take their belongings (sometimes to steal the identity too). Doesn't help that human women are technically competitors to these woman-shaped gremlins.

This pending transition to superhero manga is something I didn't expect...

Lol at the scathing commentary about Japanese society on page 11. Perhaps cheating is so prevalent there because a significant number of people don't actually marry for love anymore. They still marry of course, but for other "practical" (or cynical) reasons like money, status and looks... settling for someone they don't actually love; combined with the insane work culture, their infamous birth rate problem isn't so surprising.
