Sync Reading Progress and Chapter Read Icons

Hi, I would like to suggest that if the reader has updated their Reading Progress

Then, the chapter read icons should sync as well

Before updating Reading Progress:

After updating Reading Progress (mark all chapters as "read" based on the Reading Progress counter)

This wouldnt work and likely has been rejected because some series dont use whole numbers. IE https://mangadex.org/title/17709/kumo-desu-ga-nani-ka or https://mangadex.org/title/15950/isekai-maou-to-shoukan-shoujo-no-dorei-majutsu

@blackyawgdom You can put 1.5 ect in the reading progress using the edit function, so it could work if it read the Ch.#.# part from the manga, though I suppose this would be annoying to do with unique names.

This wouldn't work at all. There's many series where more than one group translates it. There's many languages for every series.

People tend to read one group releases and one language because "it's better" for whatever reason and automarking "read" everything else would be major pain in the ass because hard to track what release/lang you read in every series.

It will work if there's a condition to the Reading Progress and Read Icon to function.

Condition:
- If Filter Chapter Language = English (or any other language in particular)
- AND If Reading Progress = 41

Then:
Read Icon = Marked as read up to Chapter 41 for English release chapters.

As for the .1, .2, .5 etc.

Technically, you are editing the Reading Progress to mark where you currently at so if you're already on Chapter 41, it's a given that Chapter 12.5, Chapter 14.1, Chapter.X is already read.

In the event that there's a scanlation group that released a better chapter years after those chapters are released. There could be special color row of the chapter to specify that it's a newly uploaded version of X chapter but the read icon is still marked as Read. If the chapter is viewed and read then the special row color will return to normal.

To summarize:
This is the filtered version for the Read All button that will be introduced later by MangaDex

The problem is solves here are:
- Requiring the reader to manually mark each chapter released. The sync solves this issue.

- Neko (the unofficial MangaDex reader app for Android) can only update the Reading Progress but not the Read Mark Icon on the MangaDex website. I'm sure a lot of people here read on Neko versus the MangaDex website due to the better bookmarking functionality of the Neko app. The sync solves this issue of disconnecting between the read chapters on Neko and MangaDex.

Actually, it's NOT given. Chapters x.5 (or x.1 or whatever) isn't necessarily typical "sidestories" or split chapters but can be bonus chapters at the end of volume. Volumes usually released 5-10 chapters behind serialization.
So even if I'm at chapter 41 in serialization there's BIG chance that let's say 37.5 (aka bonus chapter of last volume) wasn't even published. By your logic I'll miss it.
