You can't make a contract prohibiting divorce. No way it would be legal. But entering in a prenuptial agreement to determine how to divide their assets after divorce is allowed.

Dunno how it works at Japan or other countries, but where I live divorce is:
-half of everything
-half of everything obtained after marriage
-each part with whatever they had before marriage or ended up having during the marriage

Alimony does exist; mostly for children, but rarely for the wife/husband. The law is mostly unknown and you would need a very good lawyer to actually get alimony from your spouse.
