@Leuix @Loli_Omamoritai @ChibKip

Thank you so much for the spoilers!

Does it ever explain what happens to Tearmoon after Mia's execution? Do people ever figure out that was innocent of the things she was accused of and that she was used as a scapegoat the whole time? What happens to Tiona after Mia's executed?

I can only imagine Tearmoon turning into a hellhole, like what usually happens after a revolution.

@Leuix
Also
Tiona ever find out the truth long after Mia's death even in the original timeline.
Do you mean Tiona never finds out the truth, or she finds out eventually in the end?

Look like everyone forgot about Demiu-- I mean Ludwig. (Well, he didn't appear that much in this school arc.)

a bit spoiler from first timeline

Even in first timeline that Mia didn't have any ally except one maid who feel sympaty for her. He was the one who tried to save Mia from guillotine not because of loyalty or sympaty, but because he think she didn't deserved it. Everyone should know alresdy that in first timeline he quite hate her for being a spoil brat but yep, he knew what she did and what she didn't do, and that what he did for her even he doesn't have to (tho it fail.)

After revolution, Shion invite him to work for him but got reject because Ludwig don't like Shion's "method." And no one ever see him again after that.

Yes, Tiona did eventually find out the truth about his father. Mia near the hour of her execution asked for her saying that she wanted to apologize(about all the painful things she had done to her). But Tiona refuse to meet her then.
She regreated a whole lot that she dreamed about this later at Vol4 on this current timeline.

At the original timeline, the whole continent was thrown into chaos all thanks to the masterminds that ploted all these.

A revolution like the one at Tearmoon broke out at Remno and Rafina was assasinated. Even Sunkland lost a great chunk of its territory.

It was never stated if anyone find out about Mia being a scapegoat. I'm quite certain nobody ever find out. Even Tiona only find out about her father.

The acutual masterminds got away with whatever they were doing I guess.

On side note thought, Abel and Mia may be OTP but Ludwig is my fav male char here.
The relationship he had with the original Mia is simply beautiful.

Isn't Sunkland Sion's country - the one invading all the other countries in the name of "justice"?
How is it that Sion's country lost a great chunk of territory when it's the one powerful enough to cause all the chaos all over the world in the first place?

How big is the world anyway?

Also, how is it that the masterminds can cause so much chaos in such a short period of time without anyone noticing that someone must be behind all of it?
Isn't it odd that revolutions keep happening all over the world time and time again?
To do something like causing a revolution involves lots of powerful people and money. It's really hard to believe that no one was suspicious that they were infiltrated by spies.
You'd think that other countries would get suspicious and form their own NSA to protect themselves. Even forming their own alliances with other countries to protect themselves from being invaded by Sunkland.

I agree.
Abel is a nice guy and all, but he's just boring compared to Ludwig.
That guy is just damn funny in his admiration of Mia.

The story only takes place here so it pretty much is the world to them.
Yes Sunkland is Sion's country. They do indeed invaded other countries and gain more territories initially but no, they don't actively cause chaos. Just doing what they thing is right by ‘helping the masses suffering at the hands of ruthless monarch’(what ever way you interpreted that) while actually being manipulated the whole time. Even Sunkland itself was just a pawn for the masterminds to messed with.

These guys goes allllll the way back to the establishment of the Tearmoon Empire as they seek to fullfilled the wish of the very 1st Emperor of Tearmoon -to sink the world into chaos(kinda generic I know). They already invaded every country and control the world from the shadow. They even took over the spy network of Sunkland so the infos Sunkland receive are always fabricated to what they wanted. Hence, even Sunkland sufferd a lot down the future. They suffer less compare to other kingdoms simply because Soul is just that good at what he does.

As for other kingdoms joining forces to resist Sunkland's invasion, they just don't have a chance to do so.
The Holy Principality of Belluga is the neutral faction, so doesn't actively take part in battle.
Tearmoon monarchy fall after the revolution and got help from Sunkland so…
As for the last remaining country Remno, eh, what kingdom is left to allied themself with? Not to mention they also got thrown into chaos a short while after with their very own revolution just like the one at Tearmoon.

The masterminds got the last laugh in the original timeline it seems.

I noticed that each country is surrounded by wildlands instead of a sea, and there's even a sea in the middle of the wildlands. Does this mean that each country isn't an island at all?
That explains a lot. So, this means that Sunkland is as much a victim as every other country in the world.

Little odd that the world is so damn small, but okay. It is a fantasy world.

The Tearmoon monarchy fell. So, what government was established to replace it? Is it another monarchy?

Yes their whole world is just one big piece a continent with patches of water bodies here and there.

Their world is kinda small for our modern concept, but considering that their fastest means of communication is messenger birds, their world is very much big to them.

Aside from the few supernatural elements like Mia's transgression, her future diary, etc, their world is very much probable plausible.
Don't know what exact type of govt. was established post-revolution. It's only mentioned that is was one led by Tiona.

But even then, the whole continent was thrown into chaos not long after that, so it definitely won't be a stable govt.

It's fun to read this discussion, where most of it's participants don't even bother to buy the novel and being continuously fed with spoilers by people who bought the novel....

Whoa first of all, awesome fucking name buddy.

2nd sadly youre now very fucked along with the rest of us, especially so taking up the series now lol well it aint all bad really J-novel club has the fastest translators they usually pump out a volume every 4-6 months, i said fucked especially now cuz vol2 just came out so yeah next one should be coming December-February id guess, do take in mind that timeframe is for translating the Japanese material, right now theres 5 volumes out but when they catch up we could be in waiting hell since authors sometimes take up to 1 to 2+ plus years between volumes releases, and when it comes out still have to wait on the translation....

Welp at least till vol5 expect a volume every 4-6 months, thats something i guess, being a LN reader is a waiting game mostly lol, unless youre insane and follow a bunch of series and read hundreds of books a year like yours truly lol.

I doubt it's Abel and Mia as end game. I think the unaccounted-for feelings will be for the other dude.

Actually, Abel and Mia did end up together. At the end of the 2nd volume, Mia found a book in the library that told about the future where she became Empress of Tearmoon and had 8 children with Abel. Although the texts on the book that told the future vanished after she read it which means the future suddenly changed because something in the present could've happened.

What i most like about this manga is Anne, and how mia has only acted out of kindness towards her, and how mia tries to pay her huge debt to her when she was doomed to die, and changed her attitude at least a little
