it's good to see that the girls in this world at least manage to get along and form proper healthy friendship, unlike the girls in 1:5 and 1:39 were the girls are more competitive and cut-throat.

I know I'm overreacting, and to clarify it's a reaction of amusement and not irritation. I just can't wrap my head around this (much like how those bandages can't properly wrap around Rui's ample bosom).

Cloth hiding huge breasts is an old manga/anime trope, but it never fails to get my eyes rolling all the time because there is so much a bound big chest can hide before it:

A) Becomes incredibly painful for the person doing it
B) There is only so much chest that can be held back by cloth, phsyics can't be beaten

I give the attractiveness thing a pass because it's often an artifact of how simplistic manga character designs don't really do subtle differences in appearance, so often times the only tiers that tend to exist are "goofily drawn super-uggo" and "generic anime moeblob cutie"

But this... THIS... this is just so dumb. Because there's also a much easier and more effective way to do a "fuck it, just go with it" cheat: have the chest binding work unrealistically well. Have her appear to be completely flat chested and boyish in her school uniform, then have her take the binding off and suddenly she's ridiculously, impossibly stacked. You're still doing something insane that wouldn't work in the real world, but at least it carries the appearance of trying. This looks like they got the art back, felt they couldn't ask the artist to correct it, and have now been roped into just trying to pretend it's not insane and/or lazy and they're just terribly covering for it. It's insulting.

I think the implication is that the art we see is not what he and the rest see. They probably made her really stacked even when, in-universe, it is bound by magical cloth just because the manga's sales would crater if they made it consistent with the dialogue.
