You are not alone, a few weeks ago I completely screwed up my score in a homework that was worth half the grade in a college subject because I didn't see it when the teacher put it in the system (I'm not watching his class because I'm not at home at the time and presence is not obligatory) and that stayed on the bottom of the page, so I only saw it when was already past one week of the deadline (the page is very long and the weekly stuff the professor uploads stay on the top, you barely have reasons to reach anywhere near the bottom)
Now I had to do some tricks for not failing directly (I required a sufficiency test, so my score on this test overwrite my actual grade and overcome my impossibility to score enough to pass, but if I fail on that too then I'm inescapably doomed)
The worst part of all this it that subject is somewhat easy (hence why I'm not even bothering to watch the classes)
