1. The Goku Black arc, made future Trunks struggle in Z pointless, because all living things in his timeline were killed.

2. If Frieza trained even a little, he would have kicked Goku's ass on Namek. The first time Frieza actually trained a tiny bit in Super, he matched Super Saiyan Blue. It made the impactful moment of Goku avenging the Saiyans kind of meaningless.
