@starburst98 I bet this god is more of an admin god for the whole world (and all the other gods). Where they are superior to the other gods more or less and have the power to dictate reality to a greater extent. This god has a 100% laissez-faire mindset to what those who are blessed by them do with their power. Willing to give anyone their blessing if they want to, and that blessing follows no set rules or order like the blessings of the other gods maybe. Something terrible happened because of this and they were labeled as an evil god (more or less because they did nothing to fix/prevent this and didn't care at all about the outcomes).
However, this explains why the children are exiled to a specific place where life is possible and just not executed on the spot. Executing the blessed children of said "evil god" surely would bring about their wrath. But exiling them to a place that is still potentially livable, is not enough to cause that since they are not directly interfering with said god. The children can survive if they try hard enough and have a bit of luck. This could also be why their blessings are so ridiculous. It is meant to help them survive the island. MC can more or less have access to immediate safety and food/water on demand. This new girl could possibly become something like a necromancer/puppet-master and build a force to help her survive by giving life to the dead and the inanimate.

@JavelinJoe i would say both. Australia is a penal colony way back and everything is trying to kill you.
Same with island, it is a dumping ground for what they consider dangerous individuals and commited sin(in their eyes) and evrying trying to kill you.

Well 2 of 2 powers have massive ties to life. And also, maybe not creating, but prolonging or aiding would be more accurate to the user. That being said, It would seem that this god may be labeled incorrectly or specifically done so for justifying certain actions. This kind of thing is very common throughout history.
Vilifying the things who either threaten your personal gain, are your opponents for a position of power, have different opinions/morals than you, etc... It is incredibly easy to unify (and then by extension, exploit) a populace if you give them an easily identifiable target for them to hate. Something tells me this church is not for the peoples best interest, but maybe a different, more internal goal. 12 gods are "confirmed" known to exist, yet only 9 are mentioned by name in the books, and nothing is said about the others? Sounds like a cover-up effort to me. Just having inquisitors already shows signs of shady business and/or bias against a few opposing "religions" on a seemingly national security threat level.
That being said, I can see their reasoning for disliking this god and their blessed children. Their blessings make them extremely hard to deal with (control). Almost no authority could fully control them by legal means. They would quickly overpower just about any other person in terms of potential and their potential threat to the current normal. You essentially have a girl who can literally create a army of "immortal-ish" beings by simply giving life to whatever she wants. What if she does that to a metal statue? How cant you go up against a solid metal enemy as a common human? She basically has the power to make her world into an old Disney cartoon where she just has to ask and things do stuff. Like she would just ask a lock to open. The MC can literally grow an army, and feed them with 0 threat of natural disasters and/or enemy attack. He could single handily provide the supplies for a defending force indefinitely. Making a prolonged siege against him pointless and attacking his supply lines impossible. If he was to become an enemy nation's resource and supplies logistic's manager then the country would be in a very bad position if the enemy country were to invade.

It should be pretty obvious now that whatever "god" the organization that left him there serves is at odds with the "god" that marked him. He only speculated as to whether this was a worldwide event because he didn't have enough knowledge to determine if it was the entire world dropping kids off there. I suspect it isn't the entire world and just where he's from otherwise there would be more kids getting dropped off and Abyss said the ship only comes once every spring and there would be more ships coming at that time from different places.

i bet the gods are not gods but old world techies...
abyss said there was no such thing as god and her magic or abilities were designed by science of her time which did not function in his world.
so maybe her world is like a virtual world of sorts or his world is..
his gods magic functions on a much higher level in her world kind of like an admin or god mode in a pc game.
they did hint at that his island was like the game he played before he died in his real life. so maybe his god was the programmer of that game...
and maybe all the ones they bless were ones who played it but died young and got a second life in that other world. Evil god might just be what they call "otherworlder " genre

In a few chapters time, his village will advance to age of ancient civilization, construct shrines in his name, discover metals and create the first writing system.. social hierarchy will also sprout along with naval rafts and aquaculture.
