Dropped at chapter 29.
MC refuses to even fight/kill/stop murderers. Wants to avoid peace at anycost. A typical japanese cuck MC. Don't get baited if you see flame foxes, demons, black magic. Not a single slave-trader/Human trafficker/Murderer will actually get punished. At most they get beat up a little and then can go on with their day and business.
Truly disgusting.
Okay, so I kept on updating this comment throughout the day, as I was reading the rest of the manga, keep that in mind if you plan to read the rest of this.
Hmmm, that's disappointing, but to be expected really. there are rarely stories where MC has guts to properly punish horrible crimes.
I am only at chapter 6 now and am already confused.
Aside from the translation being pretty mediocre, MC just said a few chapters ago, he could only go to his farm dimension 3 hours a day and it was implied he could only go there once a day, but then in this 6th chapter, he just flits in and out of that village dimension, no big deal! Like, what the heck, that's not how it was explained to work!
I will try to hold on and keep reading for a bit more, to see if this goes anywhere, but I am not impressed with this at the moment.
All I can think about it how he suddenly disappeard from his family and how they must be feeling and how it also seems INCREDIBLY wasteful, to use a ship to send away a kid who was labelled to have an 'evil god' crest.
I mean, if they'd just kill MC, there'd be no story, of course, but this makes no sense!
The only sort of credible explanation somebody else gave on this, is possible fear of facing retribution from the other gods, but why not just dunk him in a prison or whatever? If he fades away in there, your responsibility for his death would be somewhat similar, to dumping him on an island where monsters roam. (So, the reason why they do the boat trip FINALLY gets explained in Ch.47!)
Oh well... Maybe I am overthinking it. At least the manga I read yesterday was not even taking itself seriously and just having fun, so I could laugh with that, but this seems to want to be serious, but makes little sense (so far)...
Great, now in Ch.7 the village went from lvl2 to lvl5?! Is that a mistranslation, or what? Which steps did we miss?!
They keep saying lvl5 though, so... HUH!?
I just caught up to Ch.29 and I completely agree. Horrible people deserve their just punishments. I get that it also brings problems, especially when you are taking on pretty much global organization, but... FFS!! Ren is right, if there are no witnesses left, who will be able to tell who did it?!
I will keep on reading though and HOPE that some correction can be brought to that world. Highly unlikely though...
Chapter 48... I've had them before, because of how Kai's power works, but I am getting some inception vibes now.
Only one more translated chapter available now... Drats.
