But Kakyu's estate isn't in a city. At best it is on the outskirts of a relitively small town, and more likely outside said town and accrossed a river.

Taking their conversation into context, the bug general identified Kakyu's magical signature when he unloaded on the Holy kniggits who killed his friends. So I imagine the other demons might recognize a similar signature from this little kerfuffle.

There is also a very blatant implied threat in returning the now utterly mentally and physically broken bug who was touted as being one of their strongest defensive generals. Oh I have no doubt that the demons will send scouts, spies, and or emissaries, but they they can see what happened to one of their strongest. If they approach, it will be with caution and not open aggression.

I just recalled the first chapter, where Zeus said that Ars was going to kill Kakyu eventually.

However, a couple chapters ago, the demon god or whatever his title is, said that demons ressurect when they die, just with a heavy power loss and memory wipe. Does that mean that if Ars has to kill Kakyu at the tail end of the story, the main issue will just be if he comes back of enough memories of his family?
