This is not the first this has happened, but king is a gendered term, only men can become king. Use ruler if you want to pander to the sjw crowd or just use queen.

Also, outside of western influence, many languages dont have a direct translation for king or queen, so when the translators translate and it says king then its king as in position and political power, not king as in male ruler, anglocentrism from ignorant westerners strike yet again
