Anyway, it was so refreshing to see an absolutely classical RPG-esque battle with an evil magician, complete with three crystals which you need to destroy to disable the magic barrier. This manga is consistently delivering the cuteness and nostalgia.

I mean, he did kind of give away some useful hints for after this low-tier boss is defeated. There's some arbitrary "divine punishment" that should not even be affecting the descendants which can clearly be removed, and he named the labyrinth, so some research is all they need to find the labyrinth. Just kill the little old bastard and his oversized boy toy, and go find that labyrinth. Easy.

Metaphorically, you call someone "sniffing" around or actively disrupting your plans a "rat".
But seeing how he said "Now that I see you clearly..." perhaps he didn't mean it like that and seriously thought she was a rat. Man is Evil Old.

I'm waiting for the plot twist where the goddess of war was never called the "Evil God" by the other gods or their worshippers, but by her own worshippers because they thought it sounded cool and she's actually embarrassed by them using the word evil in everything so much the other gods made it official just to prank her.
