This is a bit random, but remember when this series entire focal point was to "Evolve" the MC from "the weakest black-Cat race"?
It has been so long now, that it feels like that pivotal goal was completely offsetted by "just" acquiring more and more spells and sword techniques, and then completely went off the rails with literally anything else, like a long arse political arc.

Like, there's 0% attempt to find out "how to evolve".

i mean literaly no one knows how to do it so what they supposed to do other than getting strong and moving with the flow ? it's not like their journey so far are pointless at all after leaving allessa :

they met and make friend with Jeanne, very string B-ranked
Shishou evolved post lich fight
fran make another friend with a royalty with a lot of connection
fran became better fighter after defeated her stepping stone, veluza
without spoiling stuff, this arc have so much setup for big arc later

well iirc we are currently on Vol.5 and the evolve stuff coming on Vol.6 , we are not that far but for the manga pace we prob reach them in 5 years lmao

And yeah Kanna Kamuy is kinda underwhelming for a lv 10 magic...im kinda expected something like Kirin

Amazing how much trouble fran has with class d monsters all of a sudden. And meets a girl that has higher stats than fran somehow, despite having issues with class d monsters.

And that storm hawk somehow went from class b to class d in just a couple of panels, somehow?
