Finally, another dose of Fran to heal the heart.
Manhua have me spoiled, manga really just updates too slowly.

Most of these manga Isekai adaptations run monthly, and that's if everything goes well. Sometimes there might be a several month gap because the artist couldn't meet the deadline or had to go on hiatus because of illness.

Manhua and manhwa (esp the webtoon ones) tend to run weekly, although I know the Korean ones can go on break for several months at times for rest/build up chapter backlogs for the future.

I've heard that some of these manhua/manhwa tend to be assigned to a corporate based artist team, so they can keep on pumping weekly.

This is boring. There's no other way to put it.

Oh look, a walking corpse Fran has yet to put down.

Just don't make a Sweeney Todd-style of curry with the guy's remains.

Manhua also tend to be much lower quality overall, about the same tier as the Overlord anime CGI army fight; with manhwa being a step up from them but still a step down, similar to the difference between LNs and their manga adaptations. It's the rare studio (mostly ReDice, and that's it) that can provide seriously stellar quality visuals on a consistant shorter timeframe.

Those mysterious gang pictures tend to be a bit on the cringe side.

Ah, yes, "Evil" Sorcerer. Because we couldn't tell otherwise. And people call themselves Evil all the time.

"Linford's man." Oh? So he swings that way?

No, I just can't take those guys seriously.

So, he comes in, talks about how he's going to say something, excuses that he can't say much, and doesn't say much of anything of use anyway, mostly because he wasted most of the time talking about talking rather than actually talking.

Sleepy Fran is adorable. Barely awake, and only awake because of food.

There's something calming about that street scene on page 30.

And then punk guy ruined it. Kick his ass.
"evil" has different connotations overseas. To be more precise in this context it means someone who is without morals.

Yeah. Imagine taking the time to write and design these mercenaries, and then they immediately get butchered later on because you're writing an overpowered protagonist in an isekai.

it would be funny if this punk-ass bully is another piece of the evil group's scheme to raise "chaos". Fran & Master would once again ruin their scheme without actually knowing about it :kek:

Tell that to old-school D&D, who used "Evil" to mean "Selfish" and "Good" to mean "Selfless", in much the same way.
You're saying that as if that has never caused any confusion or misunderstanding whatsoever. You're talking about a system with codified alignment with literal laws that depend on it. There's a reason it's considered a relic of the past at best when it appears.

So yeah, if you want to compare it to a depreciated, simplistic, and absolute morality system, go head.
