The announcer was there all the time...So you all can't blame the author for using it, is the same with tensei slime, announcer helps in a lot of stuff, a lot more than you can count and even further evolves becoming sentient so author using it's own announcer as an entity is not that bad, I do feel sorry, for master as she was an existence that didn't let him despair of solitude giving him a false sense of company and just as we are seeing in this last 2 chapters, it wasn't that false.
