Buying 5 slaves, right off the rip, is kind of an insane purchase decision. I'm assuming the dad 9wns them, since our MC wouldn't be able to afford to house, clothe, feed and manager 5 slaves at the age of 7.

annnd another promising manga flushed down the drain due to slavery being posed in a positive light. what is it about japanese people being ok with it? the more of this i read, the less respect i have for japan. slavers should be burned alive.

They're all in to BDSM stuff. That's my take. Also, Japan, strictly speaking, never had a racially or ethnically determined slavery system. Most slaves were just debt slaves, war slaves, or voluntary slaves who had no where else to go. Slaves were probably a commodity also taken by pirates from their raids. So, the idea of a people being enslaved seems absurd. Slavery was just viewed as a more tightly bound employment relationship, sort of. But it also suffered from all the same sexual and physical abuses. But so did servants, waiters, and the poor in general. So it's just like being a more impoverished servant with less rights. And servants barely had any rights to begin with. The distinction between servant and slave barely existed if it did at all in feudal east asia. It seems easy for Japanese authors to have slavery because it's just kinky employment to them. No extreme history of racial or ethnic strife. Now, this isn't actually true. During WW2, Japan enslaved thousands and thousands of Chinese and Korean people. For use as factory workers, coal miners, and sex slaves. But Japan likes to pretend that from the 1920s until 1946, Japan did not exist... so it's hard to say if the Japanese authors are willfully ignorant or are kept ignorant of this past with slavery.

Okay are we sure this wasn’t written by Ai 8 year old that looks more stacked than a decent chunk of adult women nonsensical timeskips no establishing shot or any kind of preparation for it plotlines outa nowhere and boom slave time the power system is about as developed as a Ubisoft game I mean I love trash but this is just….
"Maybe I’ve changed…. Am I the problem nooo it’s the authors who are wrong" i mean sometimes the pacing of a series feels to slow but this just feels like racing off a cliff.

Ok but wtf is Claire doing there, I thought they were going to adventure or some shit since their home was so far away but no, girl really did just get up and leave her family to reside in a random boy's sister's room. And the poor family who has to basically adopt MC's mediocre girlfriend and feed her just like that. Why is she simping after MC again?

Also random guild thug getting one-shot by a child because he's the main character is kinda cheap page filling. It's like reading a LLM add useless proses to sentences to make the text longer.
