On the other hand, it's a little refreshing that it isn't the standard that she enters as they're still fumbling around and not in a relationship just to give them a push to get together.

...I can't say that with a straight face, I hate her and want her gone.

There is an amount of cultural reasoning for it, Japan is pretty big on suffering in silence in a lot of ways. However, imposing your issues onto others is something most cultures consider "bad", or at least something to only do when needed. Lack of communicating in relationships is a huge problem in reality as well, it's something many people are never taught.

I can understand Nagisa's confusion at the end. The new girl's statement is true and she'll view it as a good thing that Mashiro has changed her so the 2 being bitchy to each would seem out of place.

And I hope author's health get better but that's what happened when author didn't/couldn't make plan for new arc. It's not even love triangle. That new character is annoying as fuck.

The kouhai is just an awfull and petty girl, who just wants the "Nagisa she knows", not realizing or flat out denying that she never knew the real Nagisa.

I'm so fucking tired of Mashiro being insecure just for lol, when all Nagisa had been doing since day one is worshipping her. It's down right disrespectful to doubt someone who tells and shows day in and out that that they love you.

And poor Nagisa, bless her soul, is so new to socialisation that she certainly doesn't even understand why there's still animosity between the two because she said what she wanted to say and that was supposed to be the end of it.

I honestly don't mind a rival character despite her showing up this late to the show, but can the author make her at least likeable😔 her bitter personality gives off impression that this plot is simply to create additional drama for the sake of prolonging the manga

I really don't see why Nagisa is giving this rude stranger the time of day. Mashiro has been established as having no self-esteem, so I get why she's taking all this verbal abuse to heart, but Nagisa really needs to step up and protect her girl more. I'm serious about that restraining order.
