@criver Yes, the premise is how the story starts, but generally people prefer their stories to go somewhere. We've read this particular chapter a dozen times now, with minor variations.
There may be a fundamental issue in that Nishimura being bullied accounts for most of the conflict that drives the story, and Takada being clueless is an integral part to who he is. I could imagine a development where he stops being clueless and suddenly loses his ability to be assertive towards Nishimura, and Nishimura being forced to realize that she has to be the assertive one now.
