If you dont like drama then literally this manga isnt for you lolcant go two secs without dumbass drama lel
total mangaka death
You make some decent points, but we cant forget how much ichi has grown from his relationship with Anna.Ichikawa will continue to support Anna even if it hurts him. I wonder if the plan is to have Anna miss an important event where Ichikawa really needs her and that forces Anna to really look at her relationship with him and her dream. In general, Ichikawa has always been willing to put Anna and her dream first in all things. Wonder when Anna will be forced to decide between Ichikawa first or her own job.
I think the Anna career and Ichikawa relationship will need to be resolved at some point because Anna can't just keep taking without at some point sacrificing to help Ichikawa at an important moment.
Right now, Ichikawa is really doing a lot of the heavy lifting for Anna, and in all relationships, eventually, you need the over person to take over for a bit.
I know we know they are good because of the future Valentine we saw but the balance in the relationship does need to be addressed.
From what has been shown of the manager so far - he seems like a chill guy and I doubt he will turn out to be a "villain". He might seem so from a child's perspective, and there will be drama from Ichikawa's side, but in the end the protagonist shall realize that the world is not as simple and you have to sacrifice some things to reach certain goals. It's not good or bad, it's just reality.
Yeah, I joke about Suwa becoming an antagonist but really this has never been a strip about heroes and villains. Even Nanpai didn't turn out to be that bad a guy. It's another challenge and the kids will overcome it, adorably. I have faith.I imagine Suwa will say something like it's up to Kyo to make sure she's happy if she can't participate in school activities
Yeah Ichikawa should be frustrated with that. I get Yamada didn't want to bring people down but Kyotaro's been carrying the weight of responsibility in their relationship.I could see her trying to go in disguise, and kyo possibly talking her out of it and maybe gaining the trust of her Management that he also understands the responsibility she has as a celebrity, or I could see something a little lighter such as as the friends taking her around the festival on a video call or something.
Because I do think its a valid concern for the school at large that they want to keep her from bringing adults with cameras and random fans to the festival. The drama here in my opinion should be kyotaro being upset that Anna didn't keep him informed even though he's told her that he respects her career and wants her to prioritize it.
She's not even that. She's a working actress who occasionally does fashion shoots. Not an idol, not a sexy-pinup artist. I get her agency had a major scandal about a year before, but this and that aren't at all the same.Honestly, I don't ever know the case of Gravure Model having a relationship is a problem.
That last part is, obviously, true (and has been an issue even before they officially began dating, where things that affect both of them sometimes don't go through both of them). The first part, though... big oof. Anna dragged this relationship into existence with her own two hands and sheer force of will. Icchi has had to step up hard a lot of late, but he owes their situation at least that much.Yeah Ichikawa should be frustrated with that. I get Yamada didn't want to bring people down but Kyotaro's been carrying the weight of responsibility in their relationship.
Of all the people there he deserved to know she wouldn't be able to come.
I'd disagree about Anna dragging the relationship into existence. Kyotaro was doing things for Anna before they were a couple. His murderous intent had him watching her beforehand and doing things to help her out. Now Anna was aware of his skittish cat nature and noticed the things he did for her. She may have accepted that he was worthy of a relationship but Kyotaro has always been the mature side putting brakes on when necessary, supporting Anna's dream, carrying the responsibility. That last part is, obviously, true (and has been an issue even before they officially began dating, where things that affect both of them sometimes don't go through both of them). Why is he showing up to the school and talking to the random child?
