And they now can’t be seen outside. Well alright. They can hang out at home together…but most likely at her place. And her readily agreeing…was so sweet. She knows that Kyo has the best in mind for her.

Now we have this typical "we need to keep it secret we're together" like in most series, just with the annoying part of her being a model who can't show she's dating anyone. It's just gotten annoying as hell.

Could be a translation artifact, since using a gendered pronoun in that situation in Japanese was unlikely.

I'm glad to see Suwa's position has changed dramatically in the past half year.

The Japanese idol scene is actually scary business, the fans are known to get caught up in the parasocial relationship and often have no restraint. It is not uncommon for them to stalk celebrities, and stories of kidnappings, home invasion, and the like are not rare (though they are heavily suppressed), and it isn't even uncommon for a fan to be caught up in their delusion and attempt murder after finding out their favorite was dating someone.
If it became known what school she attends, at the very least they'd end up with fans crowding the gates in hopes of catching a glimpse of her, but it could easily take a turn for the worse.

True, but at the same time I seriously doubt that in 2024 "an actress is currently in MS" and no one knows at least what city she lives in.
And with just that, it's a matter of time before people finds her or at least accidentally sees her...so I think is a naive way to put all the matter down.
