But it's very different from back then and he isn't that desperate, immature, and 'weak' person anymore. This makes no sense. He wants to help Hamin by letting the guy thats using her get away with it and stop him from even getting hurt for things he did in the past? He doesnt want to help her he just doesnt want her to be mad at him for this guy getting beat up. So his answer is to let Hamin, who he considers a close friend that he owes a lot to, continue to be used without actually helping her at all so she wont dislike him? Hes even more indecisive than ever. wtf was all the previous character development for? You cant just pull the brakes on the mc's brain just to add a senseless arc development.
