No idea what will happen with this would-be villainess girl. But, I kind of hope she becomes more humble? Like if she had to live as a commoner for awhile. Dirt poor, depending on how dark this story plans to go, then she could even be forced into a brothel or street prostitution. Then got picked up by the MC as a maid. The fall, the bottom, then the rise.

Maaan, no matter how many times I re-read this series this first chapter always packs such a punch. Very impactful way to set the vibe of the story and introducing the setting, also it's such a breath of fresh air to see nobility FL who actually knows how to handle herself in such a way. Usually when nobility FL is villainess-style the author just makes her intimidating to everyone without any real substance and/or fully resort to using their family's rank. Also, all too often nobility FL is often more or less an object without any agency on their own regardless of character portrayal and all their purpose of being and social standing is purely from who their father is or who they marry. While on a surface level this appears to be the case in history, the reality of it is more nuanced. This chapter feels like it reflects that, even if it was a bit catty

This is going to sound weird, but I kind of feel sorry for Pamela. Sure, her scheme to frame Constance falling apart was cathartic, but being forced to dance til she drops while those vile nobles enjoy the show was cruel and highly unusual.
