Here’s hoping Eleanor pops him real good once he reaches the afterlife. As well as hurls a maelstrom of swears and curses towards her husband and the kingallat to sacrifice their daughter later on 💀 ouch bro
I was ready to ask if this was more of a wish, but then I checked and there's indeed an anime adaptation coming! LET'S GOOOOOOOOO! (though I hope they show more of the animation later on, because the style used in the teaser feels cheap).50% I don't give a fuck about your love story I'm still angry and 50% tell me more. I pray the upcoming anime has a budget and isn't censored to shit. I PRAY.
and then she died, of illnessEleanor was and probably is the ideal wife
Gods I want a wife like her
I think Scarlett is proof he wasn't impotent :VWow not only was he a shitty father and husband, but he was also impotent.
there really isn't anything to censor.50% I don't give a fuck about your love story I'm still angry and 50% tell me more. I pray the upcoming anime has a budget and isn't censored to shit. I PRAY.
Uhh, this has MANY adult themes in what at first glance appears to be a shoujo/shounen series - including prostitution, child slavery, drug trafficking, murder, sex, infidelity, kidnapping, sexual assault and explicit shots of scarlet's loose head. Often they'll remove some of these scenes/topics from being shown, or lightly censor them with shading or off screen stuff to get them more "PG13". The best part of this series is how gritty it keeps things. The world is dirty and the "plot" isn't there to coddle things.there really isn't anything to censor.
it's not a fanservice series nor is it heavy on blood/gore/violence either.
it's pretty normal type stuff you'd still see in an mystery/drama anime adaption at least, i've seen more gore and fanservice uncensored in generic isekai series then i have in this manga so far at least.
I honestly think he's a good character. From his earlier appearances I was expecting him to be secretly evil or just a smug asshole but he's a reasonably complex character. He's ultimately a good person loyal to his country who believes put in a bad situation and trying to do what he believes is right. But unfortunately he's also kind of autistic and overly pragmatic and so made the decision to sacrifice family to his country and now has to live with the guilt of the choice he made and I think it's clear from the last few chapters that it is something he feels immense guilt over. It makes him far more interesting to read about.i fucking love scarlet's father actually, sowing the seed (lol) to birth (lol) a tragedy
im glad he decided to execute his daughter because how else are you going to get a story like this
I don't think you can remove much if any of those things because of how central to the plot they are. The only thing I could kind of see being changed is the implication of Deborah's husband being a pedophile because while it is semi-important during the Silent Ladies' Party chapter, it's not important enough that changing it to something else like him merely engaging in more general illegal sex trafficking would be seen as hurting it.Uhh, this has MANY adult themes in what at first glance appears to be a shoujo/shounen series - including prostitution, child slavery, drug trafficking, murder, sex, infidelity, kidnapping, sexual assault and explicit shots of scarlet's loose head. They're only central to the plot until a writer changes it so they aren't - that's my concern tbh. We've seen it many times in other animes where certain topics are rewritten/removed to make it more accessible to younger teens. The pedophile/child slavery stuff could easily be rewritten, drug trafficking much less so. But all these little things contribute I feel to the overall feel of this story's darkness - they don't feel like edgy tacked on themes, since they intersect with other plot points.I don't think you can remove much if any of those things because of how central to the plot they are. But the rest of the stuff is just way too central to the story to be cut or changed. Like how would you actually edit things like the drug use or the fact the brothel is one of the main bases the protagonists operate out of it? It's pretty much impossible.
The most awesome women of the series are dead . Scarlet, her mum, and I forgot her name but the one who investigated everything on her own and committed suicide afterI've really been enjoying these flashbacks- getting to learn what kind of person Scarlet mother is is really delightful.
...I think scarlet should get to bash his head in just a little more! A little, right? Knock a tooth out. I think she deserves it.
