If it's the side story,
The guy is implied to be in a comatose. He got whacked in the head as a kid so he is in the land of the dead where he met his grandma and then came back from the coma to avenge his grandma when he is an adult (that's why he suddenly turned into an adult, he was in a coma as a child until he grows up). There are myths and legends about people who went comatose and how their aoul temporarily goes to after life
This isn't what's happening at all though? He very clearly states that he grew up and has been working (which is the whole reason grandma asks if he never thought about fighting back to begin with) and that over time he just stopped caring about fighting back against his dad. He died immediately prior to them meeting

She wasn't still lingering there, she said that she came all the way there to make sure that he didn't cross the river yet

What I took away from it is that the last person he thought cared for him didn't actually, and only intended to use him to get revenge.

Through their conversation and the last thing that she says you can tell that she didn't actually care that he died or how his life had been since she died, and she didn't want him to live so that he could go back and live a good life. All that interested her was his ability to fight back against his father and whether or not he was willing to
I think it was both caring and wanting justice.

Idk, the first thing she says, without asking anything about him or how he died is that she's there to make sure he chooses the "correct path."

After he explains how his life has been and that all he needs is her in the afterlife, all she says in response is "are you sure?" followed by her doing everything that she can to convince him to go back and get revenge on his father, which I assume is the "correct path" she wanted to put him back on in their very first interaction before even speaking to him at all, considering how happy she is that he chose to do it.

She does say that she'll miss him, and thanks him for everything, so I guess that's something, but the overall impression I think we're supposed to get is that she's more interested in seeing his father pay than about him. And I think that's reflected in his final expression before the story ends

Maybe, revenge is good though.

Ayo what do you mean by that?
It's a double entendre where I imply that he needs to masturbate in order to pass on when in fact he is going back to beat his father to death. The joke is related to the post I quoted that implies he is going back to delete his embarrassing porn searches from his browser history. The term "beating some meat" creates a humorous juxtaposition by its double meaning in that case, when in fact beating your father to death is quite a serious thing when compared to masturbating which in itself many find funny if they have a very juvenile sense of humor.

I hope you understand the joke and find it funny now.

Thanks for the chapter. After getting attacked like that, I didn’t expect Kido to return to absorb the curse from her. Maybe he sees her as an innocent tangled in Yuuma’s scheme, from that brief moment he met her. I want Kido to survive this.

To think your only supporter only saw you as a tool to exact her revenge, even if returning to your life meant pain and suffering, is so sad.

Damn bro you really need to say it clearly because some people might find it in other term
