Dropping this because It makes no sense and I don't approve of "entertainment" like this.
The witches have spent many years helping humanity with diseases and many other things and their excuse for mass genocide of the witches is "We can't advance because of them".
Is a bull excuse by power hungry idiots, and the people not involved somehow believed it.
The entirety of humanity in this manga deserve mass extinction for the shit they did that was so similar to the Nazi's.
I don't like reading about Nazi's thanks....

It is good to know what you can and can't read through. No shame in walking away from something that isn't your taste. My take on it is that humanity will always try to create problems when they run out of them. The witches helped them through so much that they're complacent. Perfect time for someone power hungry to step in and scapegoat the witches. I think someone told me that humans are most dangerous when they have nothing to lose and nothing to strive for. This manga doesn't make that point but its how I read through stuff like this. Hope you find something good down the road though.

I don't like this kind of manga because i don't know what side to support and generally everyone is just a massive cockwomble, so i think that ultimately no one really deserves happiness since everyone is a cuckoo puff consuming sadist that enjoys the sight of dead bodies, literally creaming their jeans and bursting into tears at how much they enjoy the screams of humans suffering or is looking like a Michelin man degenerate drag queen motherfucker that strips down underage girls, ( nice one japan lol ) most likely bellyfloppin the cunts onto bed like the flat blob he is and going full on WWE edge ( probably explains why the girls are lookin so jagged and bruised within their positions ROFLMAO).

Hopefully this series ends with a 5th dimensional entity comin in and fucking both sides up, subsequently restarting everything afterwards

Ah I’m such a bitch for revenge tragedy stories with great art work. So many plot twists that it feels like riding the hulk ride in universal, it’s like a dumpster fire that I can’t stop watching

This isn't completely related to this manga, though I wonder if it's even possible to have an action-genre shounen manga in which MC doesn't act like some wild beast driven by lust or blind enmity or bullheaded ideals. I've had enough of food manga and slice of life.

The synopsis is, in terms of informativeness and the quality of worldbuilding and storytelling it conveys, marginally above one of those uncountable wuxia manhwas that read like they were scripted with some kind of generator prog and translated with Google.
