pity because the starting of this manga was pretty good
- not an isekai
- no harem
- mc is not a simp or a herbivore
- mc is strong but not op, been defeated multiple times

Actually it makes sense having a public execution or enslaving that highschooler girl that admired the protagonist cause basically what their doing is purging anyone who has sympathies towards the witches so as to have a population that only shows hatred towards them. Then all they have to do is re-write history books claiming that witches were evil and humans were in the right while already teaching that same ideology to the youths. The humans in this manga are cruel but I don't like the fact that there's alot of ntr with the main characters revenge and the author one sidely writing about witches being slaughtered so easily and the fact that the main character just sold them out to the humans just as easily. Im confused cause I thought he was on the witches side but here he just led a human army to slaughter them so quickly while he's getting his ass kicked by the brother of the sister he put into an unending coma. When is it going to focus on him getting back to revenge instead of this pointless slaughter of the witches.

I am having that same issue right now with the MC. Why would you lead humans to slaughter the witches when your first issue should be with the humans. If anything you should of used manipulation by stating he has been using magic to keep his trackers off but if they disobey him then he will turn it on thus leading humans to their sanctuary. My other issue is just how easy all these witches just die. The latest chapter being very poorly written that he killed the new witches right after introducing them. I have zero reason to invest in anyone here because they will either die or they're stupid in their reasoning like the MC. The only character I felt any sympathy for at this point was his master killed in chapter 1 because she at least seemed to have a shred of humanity in her especially when she thanked him for not bringing her back to this world.

Not to mention why the f*** are all the humans in this manga so evil. I mean common not a shred of guilt when they hanged those witches for the crowds to see in chapter 1. All the cheering and laughing was so sickening. Right now I want to see enough of this defensive shit and actually see the mc go on the offensive again like use the moon and crash it into a human city!!! That aught to even the score. Meanwhile I do believe that there is a conspiracy going on within the human government and the humans are just being used to accomplish it. The Kings wife is deeply mysterious and it wouldn't surprise me if she was some kind of dark witch using the king for her own objective. This manga truly reminds me alot of the manga radiant where in there sorcerers are hunted by humans for weilding magic called sorcery however whats different in there is that sorcerers have formed groups and organizations to fight back against the humans perescution and have largely succeeded spiraling into multiple conflicts and wars taking place in the name of revenge and peace.

MANGADEX you should've put "Tragedy" or/ and "Gore" tag in this! man it's not like I can't stand Gore but I didn't prepare for that 1st chapter.... man I swear if the plot would make the MC became naive and just forgive the emperor just like another tragedy-based story cliche

Alright now im going to drop this. The excessive body count gore fest of humans slaughtering the witches with such ease that it makes their point of killing them all pretty baseless. Its like a bear going really out of its way to kill a fly ten feet away from it.

I love this. Though it’s pretty blatant what the message of the story is becoming. Everyone is hypocritical, and refuses to look at things from the others’ perspectives. I’m still hoping that eventually, when all’s said and done, the sides will stop the senseless bloodshed and start learning from each other.

I don’t mind the action porn. Violence can be a powerful story telling tool. But it becomes littered with redundant situations, inconsistent power scaling, and way too fast pacing. The concept is good at least.

Just an FYI, the reason there was no update for 3 months was because Mangasushi dropped this after both noticing it was licensed and the publisher wasn't far behind.
