Just give me one more example of the same setting and I'm yours.

A ball. A ballroom. Ex fiance meddling with another girl, publicly accusing MC with doing some bullying/harassment, suddenly there some witnesses. MC is exiled.

Akuyaku Reijou no Tsuihougo is not the same.

@maitawa:

If you want the exact same cross-section of similarities of this and another work, that will be difficult (and I'm certainly not going to sift through all of them and try to find that out for you).

Nonetheless, for dramatic un-engagement announcements at a party, with accusations of evildoing thrown at the villainess/heroine, while ex-fiance clings blatantly to a new girl, here's a small list of examples:

https://mangadex.org/title/35853/for-certain-reasons-the-villainess-noble-lady-will-live-her-post-engagement-annulment-life-freely
https://mangadex.org/title/35064/i-m-a-villainous-daughter-so-i-m-going-to-keep-the-last-boss
https://mangadex.org/title/37041/milady-just-wants-to-relax
https://mangadex.org/title/38088/may-i-please-ask-you-just-one-last-thing (somewhat a subversion thereof, and incidentally a great series, although probably not to everyone's taste)
https://mangadex.org/title/29179/the-villainess-is-adored-by-the-crown-prince-of-the-neighboring-kingdom (which is incidentally a horrible series, although to some people's tastes)

And this is just from the ones that were popular enough to get a manga, too! But, look, while I did make the observation in the first place, it's not my job to convince you. If you particularly want to believe that any particular series is the one true rip-off/ripped-off series, or some-such, I shall not complain any further.

Well, I have just humble asked for an examples. No need to recast the situation into a request for convincing me.
Also, I did not claim "the whole series is a rip-off", you are putting words in my mouth.

Nevertheless, scene here has much more resemblance with banishing scene in Koushaku, then, from your list, "Reijou wa mattari".

1. The victim: helpless moe-blob letting the prince to lead the accusations vs strong girl leading the accusations herself.

2. The villainess: angry and proud vs surrendered.

3. The family: prince does harm to the family not consulting with the father first vs nothing

4. The witnesses: families in the rival faction vs some girls "instructed" by villainess

Given that, I will just admit the obvious: the scene here has enough distinction from the banishing scene in Koushaku to make a degree of the resemblance a matter of a personal opinion.
And close the argument because I'm not comfortable with you attacking me on the ground of personal opinions.

...I never said you said the "whole series" was a rip-off, either. :/

My point with that bit was not to be rude (though I may have been too cavalier, and I apologize), but simply to indicate that I had no interest in getting down to brass tacks and debating the matter any more thoroughly than that (I'd meant what I said, but 'twas not some hill I needed to die on).

Either way! Let us indeed let the matter rest, and let the rest of folks get on with enjoying their yuri manga.
