@Narehate Man, if that's the case this might get a bit annoying, dude was born what? A week ago? His parents can attest to that, and he's already bringing back long-lost magic without anyone teaching him or anything. If the story tries to have absolutely everyone insist that he's not really the demon lord it's going to get irritating. I'll give the 'royalty' some credit in that they're probably too arrogant and self-centered to accept the idea to start with, but with the great disparity between his powers and everyone else's despite not even being 1 year old (technically) it's just going to get harder and harder to believe that people brush him off.

@RMaster after 2000 years with 1 new gen every say 25 years (assume only inbreeding for the "pure bloods", not sure what the girl is) 2000/25 = 80 generations well maybe 79 since the first gen was 100% his blood. So, if there is no inbreeding his generations would have 1/79th of his original blood I think or 1/78. Apparently its pretty safe to marry a 3rd cousin but why would you, so he'd be fine, plus they have magic, they human demon hybrids.

That's not how it works at all, if there's no inbreeding the amount of his blood they have would halve every generation. They'd be at 1/128 by the 7th generation alone. Granted after a while it'd be hard to avoid inbreeding at all.

Ah, but what if Demon lord isn't a full genome, but rather a subset of genes. Ignore the 1/2 demon lord calculations, that's at best an approximation of real genetic lottery.

Say 25% of the genes are responsible for being the demon lord. Other 75% are just responsible for non-essential traits.

Given that 50% of ALL the genes are passed on, it is possible that the entire 25% is passed on. Not extremely likely, but whatever, just have tons of kids and the odds go up!

Then you might have a kid that's 20%, 10%, 5%, etc, averaging at 12.5% of course, but still varying amounts, and the entire 25% is spread out over an entire generation.

Then the next generation, assuming equal number of kids for each previous generation member, it averages out to 6.75%, but the children of the upper outliers have larger portion of that and exhibit more demon lord qualities. They are elevated socially. No inbreeding required.

It entirely depends on exactly how much of his genetic code is responsible for his abilities. are there like... 10 genes controlling magical ability? Or does every single gene contribute directly or indirectly to his powers?

It doesn't matter what body, he's just strong because he's the same demon lord from 2000 years ago. It's nothing biological. What are you even basing this entire theory on?
