Somehow our smart and mature Leslie turn off her brain and have the IQ of an actual kid. Pretty cheap drama but not like I can do any better.

What a fucking stupid ass bitch, this MC. Just fucking die already you retard. Can't you even fucking see an obvious plot when it's basically happening right in front of you and the people involved are basically shouting at you "We're plotting against you, just die you stupid brat!"? Fucking hell, how can a retarded stupid-ass brat like this even survive to this day?
Could the author, I don't know, go and take a fucking lesson on how to write proper drama into a story, or, I don't know, just NOT WRITE THE SHIT DRAMA INTO IT JUST FOR THE SAKE OF DRAMA? Fucking useless waste of publishers time. Go get a real job you fucking hack.

Although i can understand the hate, please don't forget that our mc is a child, both mind and body. She didn't regress or reincarnate, she didnt transmigate into a novel either...She's just a child who thinks maturely with shallow knowledge that came from books.

Calm down, are you okay? Is this scenario really all that's needed to make you curse so much? That's a bit of a temper you got there.
Leslie has finally seen good people, so of course she would decide to let her guard down a little. Plus, she's only 12. Don't forget, yes she's a person that has just been through more than an average child, but a child is still a child deep down. She finally realizes that there are good people in this world, so she perceives Amroa as a "good person", which makes Leslie trust her.

Thanks for the Chapter. Let's see how this will work out.

Wonder how people like @Siikalahna arrived this far into the manga with such problems...

@Athena707 I'm not sure which chapter it was revealed in, but
Leslie's father learned through an old family journal that Leslie wouldn't be able to use her powers if she were to wear something made out of iron. Guess what was used to make the bracelet so heavy

How did Leslie became as naive as this? From the moment she got adopted she dropped her guard quite a lot. I understand that she feels safe with the Salvatores and that she want to get hold of any human interaction she can get, but still getting angry at her guard for doing their job (which, as the Salvatores are nobles, poison checking is the kind of prevention that is normal) and ordering them to leave is all kinds of stupid. If, this was the Leslie from before adopted, I'm sure she wouldn't do that.

Leslie used to be more intelligent/less naive then this and what the fuck are those knights doing ?

I am pretty sure they had explicit orders to protect her and stay by her side at all times, while being suspicious of everything, because the whole situation is a super obvious trap, hell the person laying the trap went out of her way to warn them that it is a trap. That's why the heavy escort is there in the first place and why the first thing they though of when they saw food is to test it for poison (which should actually be quite the normal procedure for nobles eating in an unknown place, even without concrete suspicion), but they just randomly agree to disobey their orders and risk Leslie being taken or killed because she is upset. I mean ffs after everything that happened any escort worth their money shouldn't leave Leslie out of their sight for even a second.

Papa Bear really should have gone through with what he proposed and made time in his schedule to escort her personally, apparently without an actual Salvatore there everyone is to incompetent to actually fulfil their duties and guard Leslie (you know just like the one knight that was supposed to escort Leslie but suddenly left her alone "because something else came up", leading to the last confrontation with her sister).

Everybody who is complaining seems to have forgotten that Leslie is a CHILD. This is exactly how she should act! I was getting really creeped out about how she was way too serious. It's nice to see her letting her guard down because she feels SAFE as a Salvatore. Of course, this incident is going to serve as a LESSON for her. This is going to make her character grow! I like what the author is doing here.

I seriously hope Leslie learns a lesson from this. Her character from before was a bit smarter than this and now she just seems a bit too naive and childish. Before someone says it, I get that she is a child but she seriously showed a lot of understanding and thinking before all this that is not normal for a child her age. Could make an argument that she is starting feel cocky and safe with the salvatores but I am pretty sure she has been warned multiple times the her previous family is planning something. I feel like previously before the trial Leslie would of been more careful or something IDK. Just feels a bit lazy and weird writing to drop Leslie guard.
